MY GOD HAS NO RELIGION......
I am what I'm meant to be,
A blind believer of what I see,
Following trends, other people have set,
Leading my life as others have led.
Questioning faith is forbidden,
For all that's true, is my religion,
I cannot ask, why or how,
All I've learnt, is how to bow.
What they do, I have to follow,
What they feed, I have to swallow,
For it will please Him and He may,
Let me rest in heaven, they say.
But isn't it so selfish that I,
Should want to live in heaven when I die,
Pleasing someone to get a job done,
Why then, do we call it corruption?
Oh! who am I to stress my mind,
In matters of faith, I have to be blind,
I have to close my eyes and see,
Through their eyes, reality.
Don't mistake me, I'm no atheist,
I do not say He doesn't exist,
All I say is, it doesn't make sense,
To give Him a name, gender or reference.
I do not say god is one,
For all faith and religion,
All I say with a mind broad,
Is everyone has his own God.
There is no heaven, there is no hell,
For good from evil, no religion can tell,
No religion can tell wrong from right,
For synonymous are depth and height. . . .
